Terms of Service

By creating an account or using SpeedStay (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

SpeedStay is a community-powered platform for measuring, submitting, and browsing hotel WiFi speed data. We provide the web app at speedstay.app and a companion mobile app.

You must be at least 13 years old to register. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Speed test results and any metadata you submit ("User Content") remain yours, but you grant SpeedStay a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and aggregate your User Content as part of the Service.

You represent that your submissions are from genuine speed tests conducted at the stated hotel. Fabricated, spoofed, or misleading data is prohibited and may result in account termination.

• Submitting false or manipulated speed test results
• Scraping the Service without written permission
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or bypass security measures
• Using the Service to harass, spam, or harm others
• Creating accounts for automated submissions

The SpeedStay name, logo, and all software are owned by SpeedStay and may not be used without permission. Aggregated, anonymized dataset statistics may be published; raw per-user data is not licensed for redistribution.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. WiFi scores are community-generated measurements and should not be the sole basis for booking decisions. SpeedStay does not guarantee accuracy of speed data.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeedStay's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the greater of $0 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (currently $0 for all users).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via email to registered users.
